Obama to visit Ghana

In less than a month, President Barrack H. Obama, will visit the Republic of Ghana. His trip will include a visit to the the Cape Coast Castle.
Ghana was the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence, like most African countries it has it's fair share of military governments and revolutionary governments. Ghanaians for the last sixteen years have enjoyed constitutional rule.
Many are wondering if President Obama's visit will help boost the image of Africa as a whole and Ghana in particular considering the relative stability it has enjoyed for over twenty years. People are also watching to see how the "Obama effect" will help Ghana economically, that is if Ghanaians home and abroad will seize the opportunity to reap economic benefits from this trip.
The world will be watching, Ghanaians should seize this opportunity.
